Absolute peach of a beach. Serenic long arc and tidal range (difference between water level at high and low tides) is second largest in the world. Beach has varying moods every other day, an absolute delight to witness. Welcomed the 2024 with a golden sea.
Visited on July at hot wave weekend. Nice sandy place that's why water is always looking kinda sandy due to the waves. It is common problems of UK beaches. It is located by city that's why beach turned into a public bath. So mostly crowded with various types of people from early age to oldest. No lockers around if you're going to by yourself your mind stuck with the things you just left on the beach whilst swimming. If you're just looking for getting cool and not mind many people around, that'll be okay for you. If not you need to drive more as the Wales have lots of beach on the cost.
Still a really special beach. Middle of a city, yet gives you solitude, huge, and most of the time its only yours.
The tide runs in and out hundreds of meters, prepares the best playground twice a day.
The place is one of the extraordinary city beaches in the world. It is so close to the city. Which makes it easily reachable by foot, cycle, car or public transport. There are enough spaces for parking. It is a very calm and quite beach too, not like the beaching near London. It is a sandy beach so perfect and preferable for kids. It is also allowed to take your dogs to walk. You can sit there for hours and hours still won't get bored.
Windy, wild but wonderful beach front of Swansea. Won’t be the prettiest on the Wales coast but the stretch out towards Mumbles, the curve of the city out and the expanse of sand and beach makes it just a wonderful place to be.
Wow, what a lovely beach to visit. When the tide is out, you get a decent sandy beach to play in or sunbathe on. Plenty of parking with in 5 min walking of the beach. Places to eat and drink on the seafront.
Gorgeous long stretch of sandy beach! Can walk from Marina to Mumbles ! So very luck to have this on our door step 🌅🏖️⛱️ …
Lovely free car park at the civic centre where you can go for barefoot walks along the beach. Up to 3 hours free parking
